"Tattoo's have been around for thousands of years, starting as a way of recognition of religious beliefs and representations of what they believed in their time, Tattooing was known to have been practised in the Ancient Greek times and also the Medieval times"

Barbie Cutaway:
"In 2009 the controversial issue over the Stylin' Tattoo Barbie came across as influencing young children into wanting a tattoo, parents where outraged by Mantel bringing out such a controversial product alongside the children's toy section"

Celebrities:
"Not only have toys influenced tattoos but, celebrities have also had a major impact on peoples tattoo choices".

Celebrities 2:
"Celebrities are now known for their tattoos rather than their talent and they are often publicised for their different or outrageous tattoo designs".

Stereotypes:
"There are many different stereotypes now a days with tattoos as it is becoming a trend in today's society".

Pricing:
"Pricing of tattoos vary although, it is seen as outrageously overpriced, more people want tattoos nowadays compared to earlier years where they where less common than the present day".

"Women are becoming more influential in tattooing in recent years and, we now see the likes of Kat Von D becoming famous for her tattoos on her body and the ones she creates on others".

Tattooing becoming more common:
"Tattooing is becoming more common as they are influential and create meaning to someone's image, they can represent someone's personality, their loved ones and even the loss of them".
